Clair de Lune (harp solo) - Claude Debussy (1862-1918)

This originates as the third movement of the Suite Bergamasque, composed for piano in 1890. The piece clearly lends itself to the harp, which beautifully evokes the Moonlight atmosphere of the title. In its original key of D flat, there are some almost insurmountable problems of pedalling for the harp, so this arrangement, by Victor Coeur, transposes the piece up a semitone.
